In a lot of aspects of my life, I believe that the little/simple things are what matters most. Whether it's going to a hole in the wall restaurant down the street, snuggling up for a movie night in your favorite pjs, or even adding the smallest detail in your outfit to make it stand out. This post is about the latter. I got these ankle boots from JustFab a while ago and for some reason haven't thought to bring it out until now. These boots have the simplest gold plate design on the back of the heel and I think it is the star of this outfit (even though I've been OBSESSED with my loop knit cardigan for God knows how long!) The contrast it has against the black faux leather and the placement of it which makes it a little hard to find but still noticeable are what makes this a great statement piece for winter.
